Testimonials

“I would highly recommend April Moulaert for your Environmental Consulting Needs. My husband and I hired April to help us work with the State of Vermont Watershed Management Division related to restoration of Wetlands on our property. Unfortunately, our contractor violated the wetlands when he buried our electrical line. We had a Forester map that indicated no wetlands and I had checked with the Town and our property did not have wetlands on their map but in actuality it was a class 11 Wetland. April helped us work with the State of Vermont to develop a restoration plan and made recommendations on what trees should be used in planting. She worked closely with our Sugar Maker, our Forestry Consultant and the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation to coordinate the restoration and help us get an after the fact permit for our well. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and was instrumental in getting our needs met. A great communicator who explained what was happening throughout the restoration. I have no reservation in recommending her and she is welcome to use me as a reference. Great job April!"

Thanks, Diane

“April is a dedicated, creative and skilled professional who would be a valuable asset to any environmental, conservation, or natural resource-related organization. While an employee of the VT Dept. of Forests, Parks and Recreation, April conceived, developed, and implemented Vermont's Wetland Restoration and Protection Program. She continually looked for opportunities to further this program by reaching out to local conservation commissions, working with landowners, consultants, and partnering organizations, and coordinating with federal and state partners on policy and technical issues.”

“Superb grasp of the issues with mitigation and mitigation banking. Excellent team member, considerate, patient, direct and forthright. Very much enjoyed the limited time we worked together and sincerely hope to be able to do so again in the future.”

“April has provided beneficial outreach and education to private land owners for the purpose of restoring wetland function to little-used agricultural lands. Her efforts have meshed well with those of our own employees to create a highly functioning wetland ecosystem and corridor along Otter Creek, Vermont's longest river, and elsewhere throughout the state. Her grasp of wetland potential on candidate lands helps us ensure that our easement programs are used wisely.”

~ Reed
